The time has come...

Jason has been asked to fill in for the late great Steve Cooper, infamous singer for the San Antonio Texas based power metal band, SLAYER ( they added the SA...stands for "San Antonio" later after the Los Angeles based band of the same name sent cease and desist). for info about  SA SLAYER- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.A._Slayer

Steve and Jason were good friends, and share the same birthday ( March 18th) and the love of old school heavy metal. Jasons band WatchTower ( https://watchtowerband.com/ ) played shows with SA SLAYER, all over the state back in the early 80s.
...With the ever so growing popularity of Texas Metal retrospectively, SA Slayer was asked to play the 8 year and still going huge heavy metal festival in Houston Texas called HELLS HEROES, ( for info go to  https://www.musicfestivalwizard.com/festivals/hells-heroes-festival-2025/ ) reached out to have the band re- unite. the offer was accepted, and soon after, was also asked to play in Germany at the now world famous old school metal festival, KEEP IT TRUE. " It is such an honor to sing the songs my friends wrote when they were young. I met them inevitably, through other headbanger friends, and our friendship has lasted a lifetime. The passing of Steve Cooper, was saddening, a true Texas metal legend, lost. If he could hear me, I would tell him that I would never let him down, and deliver his songs as strong and as loud as my soul will allow".

.. Material performed by the group will include songs from both of the rare releases, Prepare to Die ( 1983), and Go For the Throat (1984).
